Configuring a custom tab

You can add a custom tab to selected rule forms. For example, you can use this tab to view metadata on security rule types (such as privileges, and other rule types).

You can configure only one custom tab, which can be used on the following rule forms.

• Calendar rules
• Decision tables
• Decision trees
• Privileges
• Service-level agreement
• Workbaskets

To enter the name and configure the information on the tab, follow these steps:

1. In Designer Studio, open the Dynamic System Setting ShowCustomTab.
2. In the Value field, enter true.
3. Click Save.
4. In the Search field, enter pyCaption Configuration Settings.
5. Click the Search icon, and open the pyCaption Configuration Settings to localize the tab.
6. On the Localized label tab in the To field, enter the name to display on the tab.
7. In the Search field, enter pyCustomTab.
8. Click the Search icon, and open the pyCustomTab section.
9. On the Design tab, configure the information that you want the customized tab to display.
10. Click Save as.
